The length of this run is up for debate. Chuck and I did it at Tempe Town Lake (part of the Ironman Triathlon course) and the official time was 48 minutes and 46 seconds. I am convinced we ran faster on the way back than on the way out, so thats all that really matters to me for this length of a run. I'm slowly working my way back up to longer runs and hopefully I'll be able to do them in much faster times. The highlight of this run was probably when we got to the corner of Scottsdale Road and Rio Salado Pkwy. ASU made the final out to advance to the College World Series, and I got to see the pile of players on the field and hear the crowd chant ASU!, ASU!, ASU!, as I ran across the bridge. My 23rd day of running straight is tomorrow.
