Two weeks and two days into the streak. It doesn't feel like a streak anymore. I ran angry today, a lot faster than yesterday. I sprinted at times, then slowed down, only to start sprinting again.
I keep wanting to increase the length of the runs, but I just think about the higher chance of getting hurt.
This weekend I do want to run at least one 10 mile run, just to see how it feels again, and to see how fast I can go. Running 8.5 minute miles is new for me and doing it over a 2.5 mile run is neat, but I'd like to see if I could average that pace over 10 miles. I guess we'll wait and see.
No old people on this run, no internal injury, I was alone, it was hot, it was just another run in what is starting to become as routine as disliking the walk from my work's parking garage to my desk.
